Manufacturing Technician - Day Shift
Location: Elkton, Maryland
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Manufacturing Technician to join our high-performing manufacturing team in Elkton, Maryland. In this role, you will support multiple manufacturing areas and equipment while helping ensure operational excellence, product quality, and workplace safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Flexibility is important, as team members may be cross-trained and asked to support different manufacturing areas based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Operate manufacturing equipment across multiple production areas.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic preventative maintenance.
Accurately complete production documentation, record keeping, and data entry.
Follow quality systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to consistently meet customer requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Complete all required safety and job-related training.
Work independently and collaboratively within a diverse, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Support changing production requirements by assisting in different areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn manufacturing and enterprise software systems.
Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs, including overtime, weekends, and shift changes when required.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, operate powered industrial vehicles, and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to successfully pass a 10-panel drug screening and criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
