You will be the Service Life Analysis Engineer for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) which is responsible for advancing airframe durability and mission readiness.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Service Life Analysis Engineer you will be responsible for applying durability and damage tolerance (DADT) expertise to support forcemanagement, field, and depot activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Using crack initiation and crack growth analysis tools to perform design sizing, DADT updates, Material Review Board (MRB) support, and field dispositions.
- Developing forcemanagement source data to actively manage the airframe and ensure safe operation.
- Creating and implementing Force Structural Maintenance Plans (FSMPs) and Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) to support forcemanagement activities.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering preferred; Civil Engineers will also be considered.- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Prior experience in a related industry.- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in airframe drawings, structural load paths, aircraft structural behavior, fracture mechanics methods, and aircraft maintenance requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs under MIL-STD-1530.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
