Senior Engineer Jobs in Toronto, ON
A Senior Engineer in the manufacturing engineering industry is responsible for the design, development, testing, and evaluation of integrated systems for managing industrial production processes. This includes human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Essential skills for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer include excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, leadership abilities, and project management experience. Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools is also necessary. They should have a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, and a Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is often preferred.
