A Research and Development (R&D) Engineer in the manufacturing engineering industry is responsible for creating and implementing new technologies, processes, and equipment to enhance production efficiency, quality and safety. They conduct extensive research, perform simulations and experiments, and analyze data to develop innovative solutions or improvements to existing manufacturing systems. R&D Engineers work closely with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects, from conceptualization to production.
