Electronic Engineer Jobs in Kentucky

An Electronic Engineer in the manufacturing engineering industry is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electronic equipment and systems. This can include communication systems, navigation systems, and computer equipment. Their roles also involve identifying and solving electronic engineering issues, ensuring the quality of electronic equipment, planning and maintaining electronic equipment production, and working on a variety of projects ranging from basic circuit design to mass developments. Electronic Engineers often work closely with project managers and other engineers in an interdisciplinary team.

Key skills for Electronic Engineers include strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, good communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail. They should have a strong understanding of electronic systems and technology, as well as computer programming and software development. Knowledge of applicable industry safety standards and regulations is also important. Certifications such as Certified in Engineering Graphics (CEG), Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE), or Professional Engineer (PE) license can enhance an Electronic Engineer's credentials. Prior roles that can lead to an Electronic Engineer position might include Electronics Technician, Junior Electronic Engineer, or Electronic Design Engineer.
