Drafter Engineers

Start your engineering career with us! UPC is seeking a skilled drafter to join our Design engineering team. In this position the drafter will turn rough sketches, CAD layouts and notes into precise detailed plans using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for manufacturing using AutoCAD.
• Create material yield layouts, 3D model packaging diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Determines tools and equipment, materials and supplies for production.
• Maintains document control and produces Bill of Materials using ERP (Odoo).
• The selected candidate will work directly with the design team helping bring concept generation to working models for production.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and one to two years experience or the equivalent combination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD required.
• Highly detail oriented,
• Handles tight deadlines with ease
• Self-starter and excellent communicator.
