Mechanical Drafter
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled mechanical drafter to join our team for a temporary period of 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension. The role involves handling customer approval drawings and working closely with engineers to transform 3D models into detailed mechanical drawings for manufacturing purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer approval drawing portion of the process.
  • Collaborate with engineers to receive 3D models and convert them into mechanical drawings for parts manufacturing.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in drafting and design work.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in mechanical drafting and design.
  • Experience in 3D modeling.
  • Ability to create detailed mechanical drawings from 3D models.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in working with manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

You will be working within a dynamic manufacturing environment that specializes in producing top-tier switchboards and switchgears. The facility offers a range of electrical services including commissioning, testing, and maintenance. The work environment is fast-paced and innovative, with products distributed to various sectors such as data centers, retail outlets, hospitals, and more. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
