Sr. Mechanical Engineer

We are a dynamic product design and development firm based in Hauppauge, Long Island, New York.

Our team delivers expert engineering and industrial design services to a wide range of industries,

helping clients bring innovative products to life from concept through production.

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineerwith10+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about new product development (NPD). You will be involved in the full product lifecyclefrom concept generation and prototyping to detailed design and testing.

• Lead and contribute to mechanical design and analysis efforts for new product development projects.
• Perform detailed 3D modeling and drafting usingSolidWorks.
• Conduct structural, thermal, and dynamic simulations usingANSYS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including industrial designers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing partners.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design iteration.
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Proven track record in new product development (NPD).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design documentation.
• Strong experience with ANSYS for FEA and simulation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $57.00/hr.
