Are you a driven Mechanical Engineer with a passion for innovation and product development? We're looking for a strong contributor or future team leader to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on the design and advancement of motion-heavy, multi-axis machinery for consumer products.

Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, this role will support the design and enhancement of machines and mechanically functioning equipment. Youll apply engineering techniques to conceptualize, install, modify, test, and support machine systems with a focus on manufacturability, cost, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new machine functions and assemblies.

  • Generate 3D concepts, technical solutions, and drawings in SolidWorks.

  • Evaluate vendor systems and support supplier selection with Purchasing.

  • Maintain and evolve product concept catalogues and specification documents.

  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines and global teams on projects.

  • Lead or contribute heavily to technical project development efforts.

  • Perform design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for excellence (DFX).

  • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

  • Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 15 years of experience in a manufacturing or product development setting.

  • Experience in hygiene, personal care, or roll converting industries is a plus.

  • Strong SolidWorks skills and familiarity with SolidWorks PDM.

  • Exposure to FEA, MATLAB, MathCAD, and low-voltage control systems.

  • Ability to lead teams or influence cross-functional project outcomes.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (some years may have minimal travel).

  • Comfortable working with global teams across different time zones.
