Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing

We require a Mechanical Engineer for full time employment who is interested in working in a machine design/manufacturing environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1.Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in an appropriate field with minimum 3+ years of relevant working experience
2.Experience with fabrication processes, assembly processes, and selection of general mechanical components
3.Proficient in CAD modeling (Inventor, AutoCAD preferred), FEA experience an asset
4.Excellent knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards
5.Experience developing and maintain detailed assembly/parts and drawing specifications
6.Strong problem solving skills combined with sound engineering judgment
7.Practical experience performing risk assessments and familiar with DFMEA
8. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and preparing bill of materials (BOM)
9. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
