What you Will Do:

The Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Senior Engineer to join the Control System Validation organization. The qualified candidate will be responsible for:

  • Jet engine test validation activities, including sub-system, full engine, and flight testing.
  • Test plan development to ensure system level testing is covering the necessary requirements.
  • Test results analysis to ensure the system is performing to the requirements
  • Up to 25% travel

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Solid track record of achieving results in a technical role
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure engineering environment
  • Outstanding cross discipline communication skills
  • Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures and control logic design

CDS develops complex, cyber-resilient control systems and software for commercial and military engines including power and thermal management Systems and auxiliary power units. CDS also develops advanced diagnostic & health management systems to monitor our products, forecast events and help facilitate MRO operations. With growing emphasis on sustainability, CDS is on the forefront of system development for hybrid and electric propulsion.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
