What You Will Do As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead projects in a high-tech facility, bridging the gap between customer estimates and shop floor execution. Process Design & Routing: Create standard procedures for writing routers, work instructions, and inspection criteria aligned with cost estimates. Project Management: Act as the dedicated Project Manager for all assigned new parts from conception to production. Shop Floor Support: Provide robust engineering support for all floor operations, production, and the tool room. Tooling & Machine Selection: Design manufacturing tools and select the optimal machinery/equipment needed for production. Estimating & RFQs: Review incoming RFQs for compatibility, estimate customer quotes, and maintain data integrity within the ERP system. Continuous Improvement: Conduct data collection and analysis to optimize quality, delivery, and production efficiency. What We Are Looking For Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience required (10+ years is preferred). Technical Skills: Proficiency with CAD software is required. Extensive knowledge of production principles (assembly, welding, brazing, pressure/flow testing, NDT) is required. CAM software and CNC programming skills are a major plus! Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to aerospace/defense requirements). Soft Skills: Excellent project management, time management, and communication skills to interface seamlessly with cross-functional teams and varying skill levels. What's In It For You?
