Responsible for designing mechanical test systems including hydraulic/pneumatic for aircraft componentsThe engineer will read OEM test specifications and work with customers to design custom test equipmentWill oversee and coordinate assigned projects from design to installation and startup

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- BS in Mechanical engineering- Open to 6+ years but prefers 10 years of experience: strong emphasis has to be on hydraulic/pneumatic systems- Must be self-driven with minimal supervision- Strong Verbal communication- Leadership skills to direct small engineering team- Experience with building component aircraft ground test equipment preferred but not mandatory- Shop experience with working with hand tools with general knowledge of machining and metal fabrication strongly preferred
