The Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is in search of a Advanced-Career Systems Engineer to be part of the multi-disciplined engineering team responsible for designing and certifying missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to conflict.

Duties and responsibilities may include, but are limited to the following:
Serve as Deputy IPT Lead for the NGI SEIT team providing leadership, strategic planning, execution and management of tasks/efforts
Lead and coordinate with a complex, multidisciplinary team of engineers, which includes but is not limited to representation from Aero, Thermal, Separation Dynamics, Loads, Stress, Trajectory Design, NG&C, FSW, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Integration, Initiation, Instrumentation/Telemetry, TPS, and Ground Test
Conduct regular working meetings, maintain a schedule, and track action item closure
Support major program reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR
Establish proper configuration and version control during rapid modeling revisions
Ensure sufficient analytical predictions are issued ahead of flight test to support the immediate post-flight analyses, post-flight model correlation, and eventual model validation as allowed by the flight test data
Orchestrate trade studies to inform changes to hardware configuration and design as well as mission architecture in order to improve robustness and reliability.
Support the identification, derivation, verification and validation of requirements
Specification and Interface Control Document development
Identify, maintain, and mitigate risks associated with the AUR development
Coordinate and conduct frequent Customer and Sr. Leadership briefings, as required
You may also support missile system analyses in support of mission planning and execution as well as tests at various test ranges.
Some travel may be required.

Experience collaborating and leading multi-functional teams
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Strong Interpersonal Skills
NGI and GMD experience and technical knowledge
Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment)
Significant experience in one or more Systems Engineering functions including Requirements Development, M&S, Performance Analysis, or System Design & Integration
Experience with Missile Defense Agency Customer
Experience with Digital Engineering/Digital Transformation
Experience in leading strategic enterprise initiatives
Experience as an IPT Lead
Active or Current DoD TS/SCI security clearance
Technical degree(s) from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and training.
