responsibilities:
Platform Connectivity & Enablement: Architect and implement robust API integrations that seamlessly connect automation engines, orchestration platforms, and core enterprise services.

API Gateway Management: Configure, secure, and manage API proxies and traffic policies using API gateways, with a strong preference for Google Cloud Apigee .

Microservices Integration: Design and maintain integration patterns for microservices, ensuring high availability, low latency, and strict adherence to payload standards.

Lifecycle Governance: Own the full API lifecycle-from design and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger) to deployment, monitoring, monetization, and deprecation.

Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce industry-standard security protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, API keys) and rate-limiting policies across all integration touchpoints.

qualifications:
API Architecture Mastery: Deep, hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating distributed microservices architectures.

API Gateway Expertise: Proven experience managing enterprise-grade API gateways, specifically Apigee (proxies, shared flows, quotas, and custom policies).

System Integration Experience: Track record of enabling connectivity between infrastructure automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), orchestration systems, and enterprise tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Monitoring tools).

Modern Auth Protocols: Strong working knowledge of securing endpoints using OAuth2, SAML, and token-based authentication.

Data Serialization: Proficiency in working with JSON and XML payloads, including data transformation and mapping between disparate system schemas.
