THE WORK
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Stf. to join our team, focusing on process improvements across for our CCA and module assembly builds. Successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and reliability. Experience with Nextgen radar programs is a plus.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Stf. you will play a key role in driving process improvements and optimizing our manufacturing operations. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from process development and implementation to equipment maintenance and repair. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process changes and provide technical support and guidance to production staff. You will be the functional lead for assigned CCA and module assembly builds.

Your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing and optimizing CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
Identifying and implementing process improvements in the nextgen radar area, utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencils
Working as functional lead with other manufacturing engineers on assigned CCA and module assembly builds to improve efficiency and quality
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
Developing and maintaining detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials
Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems
Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed
Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for further improvement

WHO YOU ARE
You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or 7 years of related experience

Minimum 7 years of experience in a CCA, subassembly, and/or module manufacturing role, with a focus on process improvement. Direct engineering experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly manufacturing processes, including equipment, materials, and quality control methods.

Knowledgeable of tool and fixture design, procurement, and optimization.

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor

Physical ability to lift, bend, and stretch in order to perform equipment maintenance and repairs

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field

Experience with data analytics and statistical process control

Experience programming and troubleshooting SMT equipment

Experience with CCA cleaning processes and cleaning equipment.

Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and MIL-STD-130

Experience with automation and robotics

Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks
