Manufacturing Technician
Townley
1st Shift: 7am - 430pm, M-F
Additional overtime available based on business requirements
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Purpose of Role: Manufacturing Technicians set up, run and maintain manufacturing equipment and assembly processes. Ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently, monitoring production processes, and making adjustments or troubleshoot as needed. Manufacturing technicians produce products for the consumer market. They assemble components by hand, add finishing touches to components, and perform quality checks on machine-produced parts.
Essential Job Functions:
Assembles products and parts to meet production targets
Follows production guidelines and specifications
Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
Monitors the production line and removes faulty products
Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies
Performing assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks
Conducting quality checks on the functionality of parts and components
Adding finishing touches to the appearance of components
Performing minor repairs and reporting breakdowns in a timely manner
Keeping equipment maintenance logs
Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time
Complying with internal policies and industry regulations
Follow instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projects

Requirements:
Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems
Fabricating experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Work as a team within department and with other departments and Leads
Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies
Required Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products.
Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
