What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role, you will support the Cold Box Engineering team to develop and execute strategic repair plans in conformance with project definition, design standards, codes, safety, and quality.
• Develop fabrication drawings and other construction submittals for conformance to engineering direction, specifications and design recommendations.
• Perform engineering calculations,
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
• Assist in field and shop inspection trips as dictated by project specific needs.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of Linde standards, guidelines, safety and operability, best practices and industry standards.
• This position collaborates closely with various departments throughout the Linde organization to provide technical and engineering support.

What makes you great

• BS in Engineering, BSME preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in or any combination of piping design, plant design, Air Separation Units, Cold Box design, Pressure Vessel design
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize work with minimal direction
• Knowledge of internal design guidelines and engineering standards including legacy Praxair standards
• Knowledge, application, and specification of piping materials
• Ability to meet schedule deadlines, Communicate effectively, excellent writing skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred

• Cold Box experience highly desirable
• Knowledge of chemical plant operations and direct customer interface experience
• Knowledge of design Codes and Standards, including ASME, ASTM, ANSI

Salary Pay Range: 75,000USD - 90,000USD
