In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
Precision ADC (PADC) is a product line under Data Converters developing Industry leading 24-32 bit high performance delta-sigma catalog ADCs and sensor AFEs with integrated ARM core. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where your work directly contributes to products trusted in medical, industrial, automotive and instrumentation applications worldwide.
As a Digital IC Design Engineer, some of your responsibilities may include:
- Derive digital design requirements from system specs. Work closely with systems teams to review / close spec gaps as they arise.
- Develop design architectures (filter design, ARM Core integration), A/D control and interfaces, DFT
- Ownership of RTL design & DV activities including technical ownership as well as schedule planning and tracking
- Owning design reviews and creating necessary design, verification and product documentation
- Driving new and improved methodologies where needed, work with the Design Automation team to upgrade tools and flows
- Supporting the test & validation team with test plan generation and reviews
- Participating in Silicon Debug, assisting in characterization and qualification support.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field with coursework and projects in Digital IC design and/or Verification.
- Familiarity with RTL design using Verilog or System Verilog
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
Preferred qualifications:
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field with coursework and projects in Digital IC design and/or Verification.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python)
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
