Your impact

We're seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Anaerobic Digestion Process and Bioenergy Systems to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. You'll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving today's challenges.

As part of our team, you'll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of engineering services.

You'll be responsible for providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other discipline (electrical, instrumentation & control, civil, structural, and architectural) under the guidance of Professional Engineers. You'll use your skills and experience to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging projects. You'll assist in the design of wastewater treatment, solids processing, and biogas utilization systems.

You'll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
• Desire to plan, design mechanical process systems (wastewater solids processing: pumping, thickening, anaerobic digestion, dewatering, and biogas utilization: cogeneration and renewable natural gas systems)

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
• live within commutable distance from the office
• Engineer in Training (EIT)
• Proficiency in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, gas dynamics, and combustion
• Prior work experience with an engineering firm in an internship or similar research.

58,656.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

88,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $88,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
