Job Description
Support the Aerospace Dominance Enabler Division (AFLCMC/HBZ) at Hill AFB on depot-level sustainment and maintenance initiatives
Provide engineering support across multiple commands including FMS, U.S. Army, Navy, PACAF, ACC, AFMC, and AETC
Support all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, including:
Material solution analysis
Technology development
Engineering and manufacturing development
Production and deployment
Operations and support
Develop and deliver engineering and technical documentation such as:
Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
Systems Engineering Plans (SEP)
Technical reviews, reports, and briefings
Participate in and contribute to technical reviews and milestones:
Critical Design Reviews (CDR)
Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA)
Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)
Translate DoD/USAF user requirements into system and subsystem requirements
Support model-based and traditional systems engineering processes
Conduct systems engineering analysis including design feasibility, alternatives analysis, and interoperability
Evaluate system training requirements and simulator designs
Support architecture development, system integration, validation, and lifecycle sustainment activities
Compensation: $130K to $140K per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Active Secret Clearance (required Day One)
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline
15+ years of relevant engineering experience, including DoD experience
Strong experience supporting DoD acquisition lifecycle and processes
Ability to develop technical documentation and lead engineering analysis efforts
Experience translating user requirements into system-level requirements
Experience supporting sustainment, maintenance, and engineering efforts for defense systems - Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes
Background supporting USAF programs and commands
Experience with aircraft systems, avionics, radar, communications, or EW systemsFamiliarity with technical reviews and acquisition artifacts (CDR, MRA, TIM, AoA, SEP)
Experience working across multi-service or joint program environments
Exposure to system training development and simulator evaluation
