Key Duties & Responsibilities
As a Production Quality Engineer Associate, you will support the our Missile Assembly Building daily quality needs.

This position will apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.
Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conduct product quality tests, perform statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering)
Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
Demonstrates thorough attention to detail
Required to work off shifts, overtime and nonstandard work weeks as needed to meet product deliveries
Must be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance. Root Cause Analysis experience Data collection
Experience driving robust Corrective Actions
Experience working independently with customers and suppliers
Experience creating and modifying Receiving Inspection Plans
Team lead or formal leadership experience
Understands lean manufacturing and quality optimization in a production environment
Experience with SAP, P2P, VECAMS, and data analytics to report trends and achieve results
Excellent communication skills to engage the team, customers and senior leaders
Resourceful self-starter possessing a "learning orientation
