About the Role

As a Technical Designer , youll bridge the gap between engineering and productionturning concepts into detailed models and structures that keep aircraft programs moving forward. Your work will directly support real-time problem-solving within manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation across the full aircraft lifecycle.

What Youll Do

  • Create and update detailed part drawings, assemblies, and product structures based on engineering input

  • Translate conceptual designs into accurate physical geometry and model definitions

  • Support real-time production issues by providing design solutions during fabrication

  • Perform model updates and design changes within engineering standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, and Suppliers

  • Review engineering specifications, materials, and process documents

  • Investigate non-conformances and contribute to corrective and preventative actions

  • Conduct basic engineering lab and failure analysis support

  • Assist in improving processes and evaluating emerging technologies

  • Develop technical documentation to support production and lifecycle operations

Work Details

  • Location: Everett, Seattle, Auburn, or Renton, WA

  • Schedule: MondayFriday; 1st Shift (7:00 AM 4:00 PM, may rotate)

  • Duration: 12-Month Full-Time Contract

  • Pay Rate: Starting at $41.71/hour

  • Environment: Fully onsite in a fast-paced production setting

Note: Flexibility may be required for alternate shifts, overtime, or weekend work based on operational needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in drafting/design or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 6+ years of aerospace design experience , including detail and assembly work

  • Proficiency with CATIA or equivalent 3D modeling software

  • Experience using Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT)

  • Strong understanding of product structures, assemblies, and machining of metallic parts

  • Ability to interpret engineering requirements and implement precise design updates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Experience with investigations and root cause analysis

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Project coordination experience across cross-functional teams

  • Prior experience in Liaison Engineering or production support roles

Pay Details: $41.71 per hour
