Engineer II

As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects and make a significant impact on our manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will support the integration and deployment of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), working closely with the MES Ops Team. You'll serve as a technical bridge between manufacturing operations, quality, automation, IT, and validation teams. This position focuses on the integration of PLC programming and OPC connection to the Siemens Opcenter MES system.

• Manage the installation of automation systems ensuring safety and compliance with CGMPs.
• Support Automation Technicians with advanced troubleshooting and technology expertise.
• Collaborate with production supervisors/managers to enhance equipment throughput, flexibility, quality, safety, and reliability.
• Plan and execute engineering projects with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process control systems and manage change control activities.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, specifically A-B PLCs and Ignition SCADA.
• Design and implement modifications to existing manufacturing equipment to improve operational efficiencies.

• Hands-on experience programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, specifically A-B PLCs and Ignition SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of MES concepts, manufacturing processes, and equipment.
• Experience with PLC-based automation and machine data collection.
• Ability to lead the end-to-end implementation of manufacturing MES systems.
• Design machine connectivity architecture to collect accurate production and downtime data.

• Experience with MES programming and integration (PLCs, SCADA, & OPC).
• Strong understanding of GMP change control in a regulated environment.
