Design and implement advanced numerical discretization schemes (such as Finite Volume Methods) using C++ to simulate complex fluid flow phenomena. Develop proprietary numerical algorithms and linear solver to optimize memory utilization and enhance the computational performance of in-house simulation tools. Optimize CFD code for parallel execution on modern high-performance computing architectures. Implement strategies for heterogeneous computing (CPU/GPU) to reduce computational overhead and runtime for large-scale, multi-million cell aerodynamic models. Develop custom libraries and automated pipelines using Python or JavaScript to streamline pre-processing, data extraction, and post-processing. Create integrated tools for mesh manipulation and automated reporting of complex engineering datasets. Analyze experimental data (e.g., wind tunnel measurements or Particle Image Velocimetry) to validate the accuracy of computational models. Apply principles of turbulence modeling and fluid physics to correlate simulation results with physical testing, ensuring the reliability of new software implementations. Guide junior engineers on validation strategies and tool usage.
