Extreme Networks Inc in El Paso, TX seeks Staff Manufacturing Engineer to perform the following job duties: Manage Extreme's El Paso Quality Lab in JUSDA Warehouse where we perform product conversions, customizations, testing, quality inspections, and reworks to support the revenue shipment requirements, and quality engineering tasks. Accountable for the performance, output, costs, technical capabilities, quality, and lab staffing (operators& technicians). Process design and factory floor layout, tooling design and procurement, test fixture maintenance, writing label printing programs, writing inspection programs (LabView, Python). Compile Extreme's Corporate Carbon Inventory in accordance with the ISO14064 standard and the Green House Protocol. Assess chances to standards and reporting retirements, collect activity data doe Scope 1,2&3 categories (purchased electricity, natural gas, fugitive emissions, fright, travel, employee commute, etc.). Determine appropriate relevant emission factors and GWPs. Calculate mass of CO2e by category, perform quality checks and uncertainty assessments, and write reports detailing inventory by category and explaining changes and planned reductions. Work with 3rd party auditing firm to get inventory certified annually. Assist Environmental Compliance team with campaigns collecting product level material declarations and CoC's for with RoHS, REACH, SCIP, conflict minerals. RequiresBachelors or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years of expeirence in job offered or a related occupation. Knowledge of and/or experience with (can be gained through education and/or experience): Statistical analysis and uncertainty analysis Programming in LabView, Python, Bartender Assembly and Test Process Development Supplier Quality Management & issue resolution, First Article Inspections, Reproducibility & Repeatability (R&R Studies). * The skills, knowledge and/or experience listed here need not be maintained over the full term of experience noted above.
