Job Description: The Office of Capital Planning & Maintenance is seeking a student for employment. This position is funded by the university. All undergraduate students looking for employment are welcome to apply. Please see below the specific duties and responsibilities for the position. 1. Update Building Floorplans and Site Maps, using AutoCAD LT. 2. Assist with new space layouts as needed, using AutoCAD LT. 3. Assist with maintenance/updating of Facilities Information Resources. 4. Meeting, providing access and escorting Contractors on campus as needed. 5. Various office/administrative duties as assigned. 6. Other duties as requested by CPM staff. Requirements: 1. Must report for duty on time and ready to work for your shift. 2. Proficiency with AutoCAD LT, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email, and phones. 3. Ability to work in a team environment and individually. 4. Cell phone use for personal business during your shift is limited to urgent, brief conversations 5. Ability to lift 50lbs. 6. Ability to perform above duties with or without accommodation. Additional Information: Shift Information: This is a non-benefited, student only position with an hourly rate of $15.00. Employment is limited to 20 hours per week while a student is in a class, and 37.5 hours per week if not enrolled in classes.
