Description In this role, you will be responsible for developing every aspect of Apples cooling fan designs - aerodynamic design, detailing system integration features, synthesizing thermal design targets, industrial design goals, manufacturability and reliability. You will use your skills to develop and analyze candidate aerodynamic fan designs using CFD software as well as to help bring these designs into existence through implementation in engineering builds and execution in mass production.Your ability to communicate design concepts / results with management will get noticed. We assist in defining and reviewing meaningful tests for thermal module design qualification. You will work with top tier fan and thermal module vendors to validate and solve thermal design problems. Sometimes this could involve occasional travel to Asia for factory builds or in-person problem solving. Ability to review and interpret prototype test data would also be expected in order to accurately validate design concepts.
