JOB SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Technician (Placards / Decor) supports production operations by interpreting production files, formatting page layouts, and using specialized software to prepare files for output. This role also oversees print runs, operates and maintains automated cutting machinery, and prepares materials such as fiberglass, vinyl decor, and polycarbonate placards for production.

The Manufacturing Technician translates engineering files into optimal cutting patterns, cut materials for production, and helps ensure equipment operates efficiently. This position also verifies that work orders and decor kits match the latest Unipoint/Windchill revisions before releasing work to the floor.

Verify that work orders and decor kits match the latest Unipoint/Windchill revisions before releasing them to the floor.

Key Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or GED required

1+ year of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or a related production environment

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Ability to troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues

Ability to interpret CAD models and technical schematics

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, graphic prepress systems, inventory tracking tools, and CAD software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work from controlled documentation and revision systems

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods, typically 8+ hours

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted

Ability to perform repetitive movements

This position is a full-time, non-exempt role based in Huntington Beach, California. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
