BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Work in a casual, professional environment with multi-disciplinary engineering teams who deliver cutting edge aerospace solutions Split your time between office, lab, and production floorsee ideas move from test to flight Influence real products on advanced and proprietary air platforms Clear paths for long-term career growth into technical leadership or management Use your curiosity and technical grit to solve meaningful manufacturing challenges every day Ensure the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Air Proprietary programs POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods Provide technical evaluation and material and process support to composite part fabrication Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective & preventive actions for material and process issues Create and execute test plans, write reports and input to specifications for materials, tools, and processes Qualify and approve equipment, materials and processes Guide material testing in the Materials & Processes Laboratory Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement Travel to suppliers as needed Integrate new technologies and promote standardization across product lines Manage test/audit programs, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and incorporate EHS, LEAN, and Quality principles into your work REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelor of Science degree from a course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. (And a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience or a Master's degree WORK HOURS: Full-Time 9/80 work schedule 2nd Shift ADDITIONAL: Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
