Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing mechanical systems for automation and general assembly environments using NX, GD&T, and manufacturing process knowledge. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Approximately 10 years of mechanical design experience

Proficiency with NX, preferably Siemens NX

Strong understanding of GD&T

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Experience designing mechanical systems for automation environments

Experience designing mechanical systems for general assembly environments

Experience supporting mechanical design for industrial equipment, tooling, fixtures, or production systems

Preferred Skills Automotive industry experience

OEM experience, including Ford or similar manufacturers

General assembly systems experience

Industrial automation systems experience

Siemens NX experience

Experience designing production tooling, automation equipment, or mechanical handling systems

Job Responsibilities Design mechanical systems for automation and general assembly applications

Create and modify 3D models and mechanical designs using NX

Develop mechanical design packages for industrial and production environments

Apply GD&T principles to mechanical drawings and design documentation

Incorporate manufacturing process requirements into mechanical designs

Support design reviews, design updates, and engineering changes

Develop mechanical components, assemblies, tooling, and related equipment

Coordinate mechanical design requirements with manufacturing and automation needs

Review project requirements and translate them into mechanical design solutions

Support documentation needed for fabrication, assembly, and installation
