Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations for high-precision aerospace components. This role will focus on improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring products meet strict aerospace quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, and production efficiency
Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA)
Support new product introductions (NPI) from concept through full-scale production
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
Work closely with quality teams to meet AS9100 and customer compliance requirements
Identify and implement tooling, fixturing, and automation solutions
Analyze production data and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
3-7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience (aerospace preferred)
Experience in machining, assembly, or fabrication environments
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings
Experience working within AS9100 or similar regulated environments
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
