Mid-Career Industrial Engineer

Our Dynamics, Blades, and Overhaul and Repair Industrial Engineering team focuses on creating efficient, streamlined production processes, enhancing affordability, and maintaining high standards to support Sikorsky's mission of delivering world-class aircraft.

THE WORK
As a member of our Industrial Engineering team, youll take on a critical role in optimizing production through manpower planning, capacity analysis, workflow and lead-time assessments, labor performance monitoring, and more. Youll be responsible for developing standard data, justifying capital investments, conducting make-vs-buy studies, and analyzing learning curves to continuously enhance efficiency. Youll leverage tools such as Excel, Visio, Access, SQL, Tableau, and more to build daily and weekly reports that provide insights into manufacturing labor cost metrics. Your work will directly impact decisions related to affordability, scheduling, and production.

We work collaboratively with Operations Leadership to identify improvement opportunities and drive positive change in our manufacturing processes and facility layouts, creating a more streamlined and cost-effective production environment.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a self-driven, analytical problem-solver with experience in industrial engineering. You enjoy using data to identify areas for improvement and have strong technical skills with tools like Microsoft Excel, Visio, Access, SQL, Tableau, and PowerPoint. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about implementing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Your communication skills allow you to effectively work with cross-functional teams, and youre comfortable leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)

data analysis experience and advanced excel- Excel Macros, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau design

- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments

- Experience in applications of learning curves

- Greenbelt Certified

- Experience leading process improvement activities

- Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience

- Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)

- Knowledge Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Cost Analysis and Estimating.
