Ability to execute hardware design and evaluation using established engineering practices, standards, procedures, and product requirements
Experience participating in technical design reviews
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
Experience supporting manufacturability, cost, and variation considerations in component design

Experience collaborating with supply chain, manufacturing, heat transfer, and sourcing teams

Job Responsibilities Perform mechanical design and analysis of heavy-duty and aeroderivative gas turbine components
Evaluate hot gas path and rotor components
Design or evaluate assigned hardware using sound engineering practices and required business standards, procedures, and program requirements
Work with cross-functional engineering teams to support component and subsystem development
Coordinate with global supply chain teams on design-related requirements
Support product and design practice CTQs through component and subsystem optimization
Work with controlled title holders, heat transfer, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to improve cost, manufacturability, and variation control
Participate in and present during formal and informal technical reviews
Follow documented NPI and RCA processes for design tasks and outputs
