Design Engineer

Design Engineer is needed to perform the following duties :

Design and create 3D CAD models for sensor housings and structural components for Resilience Project. Collaborate with other engineers and designers on requirements development, product risk analyses, design and technical reviews.

Study and research material properties, production specifications, cost and design components considering cost and manufacturability.

Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to resolve potential interference issues in assemblies. Evaluate feasibility of design ideas considering appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, and production methods.

Update BOM (Bill of Materials) and release parts for production. Collaborate with manufacturing for assembly and production feasibility.

Co-ordinate with FEA team to improve strength of the components.
Perform design changes as per issues raised in ECO (Engineering Change Order). Modify and refine designs using working models to meet customer specifications or production limitations.
Study, research and collect product related data. Contribute to the development of resolutions to product related issues in development projects and manufacturing operations.
Create plan for task completion and maintain forecast on excel sheet. Follow development processes and properly document work deliverables.
