What You Will Be Doing
As the Fuel System Engineer you will be responsible for delivering fluid and mechanical engineering solutions within advanced development programs, focusing on aircraft fuel system design, analysis, and aerial refueling.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead systemlevel fuel design and analysis to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional IPT members to translate customer requirements into integrated system solutions.
- Develop and validate aerorefueling concepts and support test planning and execution.
- Manage technical trade studies balancing schedule, cost, and risk.
- Provide technical guidance and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secretclearance to start.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineeringExperience in fuel system architecture development, analysis, and/or troubleshooting
Analytical background in fluid / thermal dynamics using solvers such as AMESIM or FlomasterPrior experience with Aerial Refueling Systems
Knowledgeable of governing specifications and standards
Prior defense or aerospace industry customer experience
Prior technical team experience related to the development or support of aircraft fuel systems
Experience with defense / aerospace industry supplier management
Experience troubleshooting faults on complex systems
Experience creating, updating, and releasing engineering drawings
