Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Title: Sr Mechanical Design Engineer Job ID: 24612 Location: Danvers, MA 01923 (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $55–60/hr (W2) Hours: 40/week

• Experience: 5+ years in mechanical design
• Education: BSME preferred
• Core Skills:
• Electromechanical design of machinery
• Design of tooling (dies, molds, jigs, fixtures)
• SolidWorks + PDM environment

• Design, develop, validate, and support mechanical/electromechanical systems (machines, instruments, plastics, controls, etc.)
• Work on new product programs (e.g., Triton, Sensight NG, Micra, Voyager)
• Support R&D to manufacturing transfer
• Improve system performance, cost, and efficiency

• End-to-end product design (concept → implementation)
• Perform analysis, validation, and problem-solving
• Recommend design/process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
• May lead projects and mentor junior engineers

• Independent contributor with minimal supervision
• High ownership of projects and decision-making
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders

• Hands-on SolidWorks + PDM experience
• Electromechanical product design background
• Tooling design exposure
• Experience in product development lifecycle (R&D → manufacturing)
