Mechanical design role focused on creating custom automated assembly equipment using SolidWorks in a high-volume engineering environment. Job Requirements Minimum 6 years of experience designing automated assembly systems

Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks

Strong understanding of mechanical principles, automation, component selection, and system-level design

Ability to produce accurate and complete mechanical designs under tight deadlines

Ability to perform complex mechanical design for custom automated assembly equipment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight

Ability to adjust designs based on ongoing design feedback

Availability to work 50+ hours per week

Availability for flexible arrival between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM

Preferred Skills Experience with Windchill

Custom automation equipment design

Mechanical component selection

System-level machine design

Design revision control and engineering documentation

Job Responsibilities Design custom automated assembly equipment using SolidWorks

Create complex mechanical designs for automation systems

Develop accurate and complete design packages to meet project deadlines

Select mechanical components for automated equipment applications

Support system-level mechanical design for assembly automation

Revise and adjust designs based on engineering feedback

Maintain design documentation within SolidWorks and Windchill

Contribute as a high-output mechanical designer without project leadership responsibilities
