You will be the Airworthiness Engineer for the F-35 Airworthiness team which is responsible for ensuring the aircraft meets all regulatory and military airworthiness standards throughout design, test, and production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Airworthiness Engineer you will be responsible for translating regulatory and military airworthiness requirements into actionable engineering plans, partnering with crossfunctional teams, and driving compliance artifacts that enable safe operation and timely product release.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain certification and continuedairworthiness documentation aligned with regulatory mandates.
- Coordinate with systems, structures, flight test, and quality teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development.
- Generate and review compliance artifacts, ensuring they support safe operation of the F35.
- Support design, test, and production activities to meet certification schedules.
- Identify and resolve airworthiness issues early to maintain program timelines.

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering. Airworthiness certification experience.Experience with MIL-HDBK-516 criteria.
