The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the West Chester, PA area.

Title: Senior Design Engineer
Location: West Chester, PA
Salary: $100,000-$140,000

Responsibilities:

Drive new product development from initial concept through production, while supporting ongoing sustaining engineering efforts
Lead and review mechanical designs for valves, fittings, and related components with a focus on quality, cost, and manufacturability
Evaluate customer requirements, specifications, and proposals to determine feasibility and application suitability
Diagnose and resolve design, material, or process issues using root cause analysis
Manage project scope, schedules, testing activities, and engineering changes
Perform stress, flow, and basic FEA/CFD analyses to validate designs
Develop and update 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks and legacy documentation
Mentor and guide design engineers while collaborating with internal teams, customers, and suppliers

Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of product design experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
Background in fluid power or fluid control systems
Proficiency with SolidWorks (AutoCAD experience a plus)
Working knowledge of FEA, CFD, and compliance-driven design
Strong project leadership, technical writing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
