We are seeking a System Integration/Test
Engineer Senior to support the development of
mechanical work instructions to build and test
the next generation Global Positioning System
(GPS) spacecraft.

It is expected that the candidate will start off
writing work instructions and then train and
develop to also run floor activities as a Test
Engineer/Certified Test Conductor part time.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
-Develop Manufacturing Work Instructions to
assemble the spacecraft in Automation
Framework (AF) and VE-CAMS
-Develop and maintain configuration control of
the spacecraft through Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs) in VE-CAMS/SAP
-Develop/Implement build sequences that
support high quality and efficient floor execution
-Ensure compliance with customer and DCMA
requirements
-Review engineering drawings for accuracy and
producibility
-Work with floor personnel, engineering, quality,
and others to quickly and effectively overcome
issues
-Opportunities to directly support the floor as a
Certified Test Conductor and potentially support
other programs are also possible.-Ability and willingness to obtain DoD Top Secret
Clearance (requires US citizenship)
-Bachelors degree (Mechanical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
from an accredited college/university preferred)
or experience/combined education
-Ability to use CAD software to analyze designs
and create assembly instructions
-Experience viewing technical drawings-Experience writing and maintaining assembly
work instructions
-Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
-Experience with EPDM reviewing drawings and
parts lists
-Experience managing MBOM's, especially
synthetics
-Experience with ERP/SAP
-Experience with VE-CAMS/Apriso
-Experience with Automation Framework
-Experience supporting assembly, integration
and test of spacecraft
-Excellent written and verbal communication
skills
-Multi-program ATLO experience
-Knowledge of GPS hardware and processes
