You will be the Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2 for the F16 Mate team which is responsible for supporting all phases of the F16 platforms manufacturing plan, production standup, and postdelivery sustainment.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for integrating engineering, shopfloor, and quality inputs to ensure efficient aircraft production.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans and process documentation for the F16 platform.
  • Collaborate with shopfloor personnel, design engineering, quality, and industrial engineering to resolve production issues.
  • Support correctiveaction initiatives and continuousimprovement projects on the production line.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of postdelivery sustainment and modification activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to operators to improve process reliability and safety.

Experience in an Operations role with hands-on applications of engineering and manufacturing principles

Experience working process improvement and corrective action efforts

Experience interpreting Engineering drawings, specifications,
and manufacturabilityStrong ability in written and verbal technical
communication skills
Previous manufacturing/operations experience (2 to 5
years)
Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD)
modeling
Experience with manufacturing tooling design and
fabrication
Understanding and demonstrated application of
technical and problem solving skills in the area of
manufacturing and production
