Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, working knowledge of electrical systems and coding is a plus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex, cross-functional problems and contributing to innovative product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and systems from concept through production
- Create and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Perform analysis including stress, and tolerance stack-ups
- Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and components
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design, performance, and manufacturability
- Assist in developing automated systems, test setups, or embedded solutions where applicable
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in CAD software
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, analysis and drawing creation
- Experience in product development or NPI environments
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems (sensors, motors, wiring, controls)
- Basic Knowledge of programming language (e.g., Python, C++, or similar)
- Exposure to FEA or simulation tools
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
