Harness Design Engineer - Level 3

You will be the Harness Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for delivering cuttingedge aircraft harness and interconnect solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Harness Design Engineer you will be responsible for applying deep technical expertise to solve complex wiring and powerdistribution challenges while partnering closely with systems, mechanical, structural, and integration teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Produce electrical wiring schematic drawings and design intricate powerdistribution systems.
• Translate electrical specifications into clear routing diagrams, cable layouts, and detailed installation procedures, coordinating with crossfunctional teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive wiringharness documentation, support prototype builds, troubleshoot integration issues, and manage change requests.
• Develop supplier statements of work and oversee system checkouts to ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements.
• Work directly with manufacturing during buildup to diagnose and resolve system problems.

Who You Are

You are a resultsdriven electrical design professional with proven experience in aircraft harness development. You bring strong analytical and problemsolving skills, thrive in collaborative environments, and excel at translating complex requirements into practical, compliant designs. Your background includes supplier management, changecontrol processes, and handson troubleshooting with manufacturing. As a U.S. citizen, you understand the importance of security and integrity in missioncritical programs.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secretclearance to start.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

- Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams

- Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool

- Ability to obtain and maintain Active Top Secret Clearance per business requirements- Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED

- Hands on experience with aircraft modifications

- Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing

- Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes

- Experience with aircraft harness, wiring or cable design/schematics

- Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software.

- Active Top Secret Clearance

- 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
