You will be the Facilities Engineer Staff for the Facilities Engineering team. Our team is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facilities Engineer Staff you will be responsible for translating project requirements into detailed designs, coordinating with external architecture/engineering firms, and ensuring construction aligns with specifications and schedules.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and managing design criteria, layout, and detail drawings for facility modifications.
- Preparing bid sheets, contracts, and cost estimates for construction and acquisition projects.
- Coordinating with CAD tools and MS Office to produce accurate documentation.
- Inspecting construction progress and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Applying building codes, construction standards, and energymanagement best practices.

Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline with 3+ years professional experience or post secondary degree or 5+ years of related experience.Experience developing and managing various sized projects.
Experience with CAD software.
Proficient in MS Office software programs
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess the ability to obtain a security clearance.Experience in energy management systems and green technologies.
Knowledge of building codes and construction standards
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
