You will be the Low Observables Engineer Staff for the Low Observables team (Signature Management & Survivability) which is responsible for advancing stealthsignature reduction and survivability technologies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Low Observables Engineer Staff you will be responsible for guiding the endtoend maturation of lowobservable technologiesfrom concept and modeling through prototype testing and transition to production. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts and act as the technical voice for government and customer engagements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform, analyze, and communicate vehicle signature predictions using Unixbased codes and tools.
- Lead signaturereduction trade studies and optimization campaigns for platformlevel and componentlevel designs.
- Plan and execute laboratory measurements of material coupons to determine physical, electrical, and environmental properties.
- Conduct research, design, and testing of advanced electromagnetic metamaterials applied to lowobservable platforms.
- Develop and maintain scripts for batch analysis and postprocessing of simulation and measurement results.
