Loadmaster is a rapidly growing national manufacturer of refuse trucks with customers all over the country. Garbage never stops-no matter the weather or the economy-and our products play an integral role in keeping cities, parks, and communities clean and healthy. Our customers include major municipalities and hauling companies who rely on Loadmaster equipment every day.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing processes from concept through production. This position will involve driving improvements on the shop floor, supporting production teams, and optimizing manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and capable of working across engineering and manufacturing functions.

Essential Job Functions

Develop and refine manufacturing processes, routings, fixtures, and work instructions.
Provide engineering support to the production floor, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams to improve manufacturability and reduce rework.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Assist with change management, including ECOs, BOM updates, and documentation control.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor/Associate of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Hands-on mindset and willingness to work on the shop floor.
Familiarity with fixture software and robotic welding equipment a plus.
