CAD/Mechanical Drafter

A CAD Drafter job in Gahanna, OH is available courtesy of Akkodis. This can be hybrid for the right candidate. We're currently seeking support from an experienced Mechanical Drafter to assist with layout and design documentation for ongoing airport lighting and infrastructure installation projects. This is a contract opportunity Pay: $26/hour - $31/hour CAD Drafter job Responsibilities: Create and update 2D and 3D mechanical and electrical layout drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Translate engineering sketches, field markups, and specifications into clear construction-ready drawings Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate representation of design intent Maintain organized drawing files and documentation standards in line with project and company requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter, ideally in infrastructure or construction environments Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks Experience creating and interpreting mechanical and electrical layout drawings Familiarity with field installation documentation and construction plan sets Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams If you are interested in this Cad Drafter job in Gahanna, OH please click APPLY NOW.
