Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience in engineering.
  • 8 years of experience in test engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
  • Experience coding in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and executing test processes accordingly.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working with server, storage, and networking products.
  • Experience with test stations bringing-up, calibration and setup for production test purposes and working with CM partners on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), and Joint Design Manufacturer (JDM) projects.
  • Experience with DFT, structural tests such as In-Circuit Testing (ICT)/Boundary Scan (BSCAN), Board and System Level Functional Test.
  • Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and correlation study for each change management.
  • Knowledge of Linux OS and common command line tools.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement of test systems and processes for increased manufacturability.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Design, build, optimize and deploy test platforms for Google compute server at the global manufacturing partners.
  • Partner with the NPI team to define Design For Test (DFT) requirements and provide input to the manufacturing test strategy.
  • Provide manufacturing test engineering support for new and existing products. Proactively drive test change to improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers and partner engineers to drive initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and find the root cause of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes. Drive issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
