Summary:
This position involves maintaining and communicating a high level of technical knowledge regarding design, specification, and application of Motor Control Center & Switchgear products and solutions. Responsibilities revolve around designing, specifying, and technically supporting Motor Control Centers and Switchgear.
Reports to: Profit Center Manager or EPC Projects Team Lead
Minimum Qualifications:
+ BS/BA in Engineering. Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred.
+ Requires 3-4 years of product area experience.
+ Professional communication skills necessary.
+ Requires basic knowledge of personal computers and MSOffice.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience as a Motor Control Center Applications Engineer
+ Bilingual
Working Conditions:
+ Potential Visits to job sites, factories, and processing facilities.
+ Potential driving in excess of 100 miles daily plus sitting, standing and frequently walking up stairs.
+ Office Environment
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions:
+ Provide customers and profit centers with technical support of MCCs and Switchgear solutions.
+ Design, engineer, and configure Motor Control Centers and Switchgear.
+ Assist in the specification, configuration, and technical support of assigned products.
+ Interpret customer provided one-line drawings and written specifications to configure Motor Control Centers & Switchgear solutions.
+ Work with Rockwell Automation and partner resources to obtain and maximize competitive pricing levels for our customers.
+ Plan, organize, and schedule calls with current and prospective customers.
+ Maintain a positive relationship with Rockwell Automation and other vendor partners to ensure awareness of new products and procedures.
